Trenchless pipe lining and other minimally invasive options provide us with a highly versatile process that can be used on pipes of varying sizes, lengths, and diameters. And since we do the work without heavy machinery, we can often access areas where it’s difficult to do traditional excavation work.
Absolutely! For one thing, we don’t need to bring the old pipe to the surface, which reduces the risk of bringing contaminated dirt to the surface. Plus. the work area is limited, so there’s very little surface area disruption.
Typically, the work can be completed within a day. We’ll give you a more accurate timeline for project completion once we arrive and evaluate your pipes.
Generally, the pipe has to still be stable. If the pipe has entirely collapsed, for instance, we may end up recommending traditional repair or replacement methods.
One method we use for sewer repair is pipe bursting with a new twist. As the existing pipe is broken up, a new high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe is installed in its place. It’s a trenchless method since the existing pipe isn’t brought to the surface. Additionally, the work area is limited and the pipe that’s in place isn’t brought to the surface. The entire process is extremely cost-effective and efficient from start to finish.
We start the pipe repair process by inspecting the affected sewer line. This is done to determine what approach is appropriate. If pipe bursting is the best option for your needs, we begin the process of preparing for minimally invasive sewer pipe replacement. The good thing about this approach to sewer repairs is it doesn’t matter if the pipe is severely damaged since it’s broken up and pushed down into the ground.
