A+ Drain Cleaning & Plumbing offers both trenchless (non-invasive), along with excavated (trenched) solutions for repairing and replacing your water line. We will assess your water line problem with a camera inspection so that we can determine what the best course of action will be for you.
Our trenchless water repair solutions will leave you with a restored water line without a lot of extra cleanup worries to deal with when everything is done. But, if necessary we have the equipment and expertise to dig the line up and replace it with a brand new water line if needed.
It’s not always easy to know what’s causing water line issues. With A+ you’ll get an honest opinion when it’s time to determine whether or not to replace water line pipes or repair them. Lastly, you’ll have access to all the resources and local experience required to get the job done right, quickly and efficiently.
It’s often necessary to detect water line leaks before repairs can be made. We’re a plumbing crew that stays up-to-date with technology, which means we use minimally invasive techniques when it’s possible to do so to find leaks quickly and precisely. Sensitive sound listening equipment is often used for this purpose.
One step you can take is to insulate water lines directly exposed to the outside, especially during the cooler months of the year. Also, take care of any water pressure issues you may notice, particularly ones involving water pressure that’s too high.
We advise against it. It’s easier than you may realize to make a few missteps here and there. And because water lines are pressurized, you could end up with costly flood damage in your home. Error on the side of caution and give us a call.
One method we use for water line repair is pipe bursting with a new twist. As the existing pipe is broken up, a new high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe is installed in its place. It’s a trenchless method since the existing pipe isn’t brought to the surface. Additionally, the work area is limited and the pipe that’s in place isn’t brought to the surface. The entire process is extremely cost-effective and efficient from start to finish.
We start the pipe repair process by inspecting the affected water line. This is done to determine what approach is appropriate. If pipe bursting is the best option for your needs, we begin the process of preparing for minimally invasive water pipe replacement. The good thing about this approach to water line repairs is it doesn’t matter if the pipe is severely damaged since it’s broken up and pushed down into the ground.
