Common Issues We Address
Tree roots are a common issue we address involving sewer lines. Over time, underground roots can get into sewer pipes through small openings. Over the years, those roots expand and grow inside to the point where you have serious issues with clogs and backups. We also address issues involving misalignment, damage from age or corrosion, and damage caused by debris that's deep within the line.
How Does Sewer Repair Work
We start by performing an inspection of the affected sewer line to determine where the damage is located. We also assess the overall condition of the line to determine what approach to repair is best.
If the damage to the sewer is severe, we use pipe bursting, replacing it without actually digging. What we do instead is use a special tool can a bursting head to break up the existing pipe right where it's located. As the old pipe is broken up and pushed down a new type of pipe called high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe is installed. It's a highly durable material that has the potential to last for many years, so long as it undergoes regular maintenance.
